Chatting In The IRC-channel

Connect to irc.coldfront.net with your IRC client (such as XChat, Pidgin, or mIRC) and go to the channel #achron

If you do not have an IRC client, you can access the IRC channel through the web: Mibbit Web IRC Client

This is a good place to find out whether anyone wants to play. For maximum effectiveness hang around long enough that idlers have a chance to respond. An idler checking up on the channel every 15 minutes has a 13% chance to notice a participant that sticks around only for 2 minutes.

Version 1.1.0.0 of Achron added the chat channel to the multiplayer lobby allowing you to chat from in game and version 1.2.0.0 extended the in-game chat functionality to every menu screen and into multiplayer games.
