Intelligence Warfare

Winning usually requires knowing what one must do. Gaining information on your opponent and preventing him from knowing (truths) about you is one aspect of reaching a win.
Players gain information about each other by:
- Seeing via their units vision radius (when this is the whole point of a operation it is called Scouting)
- Using the minimap to access a more summary version of their units vision data
- Using Cloaking
- Inflicting Nanites either to gather information passively or actively
- Observing the Damage indicator
- Observing causes of events to deduce about what is/will be under the fog of war in the present
- Observing effects in the future to deduce about what is/will be under the for of war in the present
- Observing the time position of the other player
- Using Gradar
