Self help
A unit going back to help itself accomplish its goal. By nature invokes a lot of Ontological Paradox and Predestination Paradox. While the unit can reenter the same time period as many times as it has time to (and thus work with the power of that many units) the unit must be able to live from the first iteration. This may be supported by Temporary Support. After the unit starts feedbacking itself with success it can usually support any further iterations.
Using self help instead of additional units makes the force more causally connected. Also the group will not have as much hp as similiar number of individual units as younger selfs damage will propagate to older selfs. Producing units via Chronoporting uses flat prices while producing via factories has potentially more pricey and varied cost structure. However unit power gained from self help is by its nature impermanent if Chronocloning is not involved. Self help avoids being in causal contact and using up factory time, but in stead uses chronoporting resources in a similiar role. However a chronoport can "produce" a big group of units at once with a biggish constant cooldown where a factory is more linearly bound on the number of units.
