Words Speak Louder Than Silence
From Achron Wiki
Trying to influence what your opponent thinks you are going to do in game to win by using direct communication channels. May include:
- Saying of using a tactic when in reality not implementing it
- Saying of using a tactic to make the opposition think that using it is less likely
- Expressing oppinions about tactics
- Adressing either players reputation and making predictions based on it
- Framing the match in a context that favors strategic thinking you yourself feel will be superior on
- Implying confidence or cowardice to seem agressive/passive
- Implying sloppiness or observativeness to paint a image how effective diversionary tactics will be
It is good to rememeber that motivation behind every communication is pretty likely to be judged. This opens up the option/possibilty of using reverse psychology.
However actions speak way louder so there is only so much that can be accomplished by idle talk.
