The Foundation is a basic Vecgir building that builds all their other buildings on top of itself (apart from the Resource Processor and Comm Hub). It can also heal nearby Vecgir units and structures, detect cloaked units, and generate power for vehicles.

Foundations are primarily built from other Foundations or Foundation-based buildings. They are built along an adjacent side hexagonally, which is selected after choosing to build the foundation. This is the primary method of Vecgir base expansion, and an important factor in the complete functioning of the Depot.
