The Vecgir are one of the three playable species in Achron.

The Vecgir have relatively slow movement but are masters of teleportation and their vehicles can be upgraded to individually self teleport for 25LC and 10QP (when gate tech is researched they can self teleport without having to upgrade). Their vehicles also hover, allowing them to cross non-terrain tiles. Most of their buildings are constructed by neighboring Foundations. The Vecgir dislike being given orders by an achronal commander even more than humans do despite having had an achronal commander for longer. Their third resource is Power.

All Vecgir Foundations can detect cloaked units and have the ability to attack when Autodefence is upgraded. They have an all in one chrono-teleporter called the Slipgate and their Skip Torpedo is a long-range missile that teleports to evade enemy fire.


Vecgir have 3 types of units: The Zayin, the Teth and the Shin. Each type can be one of 4 classes: Vir, Pulser, Tercher and Halcyon.

Vir are the infantry and can pilot vehicles:

  • Pulser class are lightweight, lightly armored vehicles
  • Tercher class are middleweight, fast vehicles
  • Halcyon class are slow, heavyweight vehicles

-The Zayin are all ground-based units that are strongest against ground

-The Teth are strong vs air

-The Shin are all air-based (except for the Vir class) and are equal against ground and air (except for the Tercher class)


All Vecgir buildings except the Comm Hub and Resource Processor are all built on Foundations that are created in a hexagonal pattern by an adjacent Foundation or by a Shin Vir.

  • The Foundation can create adjacent Foundations in any of the 6 directions and automatically repairs any nearby Vecgir units. It can also detect cloaked units.
  • The Annex performs upgrades and creates pilots (Vir class).
  • The Depot allows the Vir (pilots) to pilot a vehicle or can create pre-piloted vehicles when adjacent to an Annex (since the Annex can automatically provide the pilots). It can also heal vehicles.
  • The ACC (Aerial Control Center) allows an adjacent Depot to create aerial units and launches the skip torpedo.
  • The Bastion is the Vecgir Turret.
  • The Slipgate is a two-in-one Chronoporter and Teleporter that can repel enemies.

All vehicles can be built from the pilot when it is near a Depot, or from the depot without a nearby pilot but with an adjacent annex. The final cost is the same either way. The Depot must be adjacent to an Annex to build vehicles. Upon destruction, the pilots eject from the vehicles and continue fighting.

All Vecgir Foundations can attack once Autodefence is upgraded. All buildings built by Foundations are built on top of the Foundation, which can still construct additional Foundations and generate Power.
