The Arcticus is the starting Grekim building. Its main purpose is commanding Grekim armies, as it is the only unit that can establish a Grekim unit hierarchy. An Arcticus can also itself be led by another unit or Arcticus.
It can build Octos, Sepis and Pharos without progeneration once every 16 seconds, although at higher cost.
Grekim players commonly move their starting Arcticus to the front of their base in order to tank. This forces opponents to micro their units past it in order to get at the RPs. It also has the advantage of detecting stealth.
