Grekim
The Grekim are one of the three playable species in Achron. The Grekim are masters of chronoportation and their units can be upgraded to individually self chronoport. They don't have teleporters but are more mobile than the other races and all of their buildings can fly. They construct buildings by morphing a unit into the building and the Spyre can morph back into the unit. The Grekim have 3 types of units: the Octo, Sepi and Pharo. Each type can be of 3 classes: basic, pod and loligo.
The three basic units (Octo, Sepi and Pharo) can switch into Progeneration mode. When in proximity of each other they can create basic or pod-class units.
The three pod-class units (Octopod, Sepipod and Pharopod) can switch into Progeneration mode. When in proximity of each other they can create pod-class or loligo-class units.
Units in Progeneration mode need to be in proximity of a Spyre building in order to create aerospace units.
Their method of Progeneration is transitive (base-3) :
- Octo + Sepi can make a Pharo or Pharopod
- Octo + Pharo can make a Sepi or Sepipod
- Sepi + Pharo can make make a Octo or Octopod
Placing all three together enables you to make any of the 6 units.
- Octopod + Sepipod can make a Pharopod or Pharoligo
- Octopod + Pharopod can make a Sepipod or Sepiligo
- Sepipod + Pharopod can make a Octopod or Octoligo

- Octoligo can split down into a Sepi and Pharo
- Sepiligo can split down into an Octo and Pharo
- Pharoligo can split down into an Octo and Sepi

All Grekim buildings are made by each of the three basic class units:
- The Octo morphs into a Resource Processor or a Dome
- The Sepi morphs into a Reaph or a Mound
- The Pharo morphs into an Arcticus or a Spyre
The Arcticus is responsible for central hierarchy and group control and can directly progenerate basic class units but at a much higher cost.
The Reaph automatically heals nearby Grekim units, researches technologies, and launches special weapons like the chronobomb.
The Spyre enables progeneration of aerospace when in proximity of progen-mode units.
The Dome is the Grekim version of a Turret.
The Mound is the Grekim version of a Comm Center.
The Grekim were stated as being inspired by Squibbons from the Animal Planet series The Future is Wild. They are also stated to be masters of chronoportation, with all but one of their units able to self-chronoport.

Physiology
All Grekim share the common trait of having eight limbs (though on the flyers some or all of these are repurposed as wing struts or exhaust pipes). Each Grekim that has been seen thus far is also a cyborg. Grekim are separated into three distinct sexes: sepi, pharo, and octo.
Grekim do not communicate verbally, as humans do. Instead, Grekim have a sort of inbuilt radio transmitter and receiver, allowing them to communicate via a means similar in practice to telepathy.
