The Heavy Tank is the upgraded version of the normal Tank from the Humans. Although it is expensive to upgrade, it is one of the best units and has a special ability to Nanite Infect other units. It can carry Marines and SOPs.

This unit has the ability to infect a unit with Nanites. Units infected with nanites can be commanded by the player who infected them as well as the player that the unit belongs to. There are no discernible symptoms of nanite infection beside doing actions the owning player did not order.
