Resources
There are several resources in Achron. L-Crystals and Q-Plasma are general purpose resources for construction, and common to all races. Reserves is a Human-specific resource for unit construction, and Power is a Vecgir-specific resource of a similar role to reserves.
While the starting resources for any map can be set to any arbitrary value, the current competitive standard (as of v0.5.0.0) is 300 40

L-Crystals
L-Crystal is short-hand for Liquid Crystal, a state of matter between crystal and liquid, historically used for biotechnology, visual display technology, and hygiene (soap). In the context of on-demand industrial manufacturing and military use, L-Crystals refers to a specific blend of nanostructures and nanobots that behave in this manner, creating the ultimately flexible raw material for manufacturing nearly any structure.
L-Crystals is the more common of the two map-based resources of Achron. It comes in Resource containers and can be harvested by a Resource Processor. It can also be made from Q-Plasma by converting 40 Q-Plasma into 20 L-Cyrstal.
L-Crystals and Q-Plasma are both inventions of Humans, and the Humans have been pairing them together for industrial and military purposes for many decades. As they are expensive to create, both in terms of energy and raw materials, their widespread use remains limited to those wealthy enough to afford it. Large multisystem corporations and major military forces such as CESO are the primary consumers of these resources. The Remnant System produces, sells, transfers, and stores far more of these resources than any other system.
When badly damaged L-Crystal boxes leak their contents away.
Q-Plasma
Q-Plasma, short for quark-gluon plasma, is a map-based resource in Achron that is more powerful, flexible, and dangerous than L-Crystals. Prior to the discovery of teleportation, this state of matter could only be produced by major physics laboratories, and only in small volume.
Like L-Crystal, Q-Plasma can be extracted from Resource containers and can be harvested by a Resource Processor. Resource Processors can extract energy and matter from Q-Plasma and use it to create elements and materials in proportions that are not possible with L-Crystals. Q-Plasma is so flexible that Resource Processors can create L-Crystal material out of Q-Plasma, at a cost.
Like L-Crystals, Q-Plasma was invented by the Humans.
Reserves
Used by Humans as a part of creating units. Automatically produced at a set rate by Importers.
Power
A resource used by the Vecgir. Power is generated by Foundations and Vecgir vehicles subtract from power only while they are active, it is refunded when they die. If power goes negative energy then skip-energy will begin draining from Vecgir units and will not regenerate. This means you'll have: no self-skipping (RP's won't be able to relocate), no specials, no recover-abilities (break TSS, recover, clear nanite) and Foundations won't repair. Slipgates are not affected by negative power. The Foundations can be upgraded to produce more power.
Energy
Most units with abilities have an energy reserve. Units with energy have their own energy reserve, independant of any other unit. Energy is generally used to activate powers and abilities. Energy has a set recharge rate.
Secondary Energy (Ammo)
Some units and buildings have a secondary energy resource. This is generally referred to as Ammo and used to control superweapon usage, but is also the resource for Vecgir Skip-Teleport, Arcticus generation limitation, and the Dome's Beam. It also represents the number of Reserves in an Importer.
